What are the best shoes, pants and shirts to mix and match for a cruise?
A nice jacket that I can interchange with various tops and pants maybe?
I’m usually a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal but I am going on a cruise and need ideas for business casual…and comfy!
I have a somewhat modest budget so store ideas are good too.

Thanks bunches for your help!
Buy clothing that does not wrinkle easily, and that you can mix and match colors. Try to pack a cute pair of dress shoes that go with all or most of your outfits. I recommend a local discount clothing store. Sarongs, tank tops, light weight sweaters, at least 2 swimsuits, flip-flops, sandals, medium length flowy skirts.
It is no secret that the twentieth century witnessed the changes in the fashion industry that had never been seen in previous centuries. A series of fashion trends have passed into history as an emblem of a particular season or ten. Bellbottoms, for example, are an eternal symbol of the 1970s, while the decade 1980 will always be remembered for shoulder pads if nothing else! However, the evolution of men's suits also reveals a distinct sense of social history – One that is too strong to be overlooked.
At the turn of the century until the 1920s, there was still a significant disparity between men's daywear "and" evening gowns and men's suits usually took the form of a tuxedo with a virgin, starched white shirt worn underneath, and perfectly accessorised by a top hat and black leather shoes. However, the Wall Street crash of 1929 had a profound effect on men's Formalwear it was cut back in clothes so that were produced and fewer people bought them. Men's suits in the 1930s were modified in the style of its users seem to have torso and shoulders squarer while the double-breasted suit also became popular.
However, the Zoot Suit is an exception to the rigid configuration of men's suits during this decade. With low waists, legs and heavily manacled and a long coat, Zoot Suits were mostly popularized by young African Americans and Hispanics, until the War of the production of panels marked as "waste" in 1942 and banned further production. The style lasted until the early 1950, however, when men suits became more business-like and men everywhere began to wear tight pants with a single breast coat – An authoritarian style that reflected the role of men are suddenly expected to play in postwar society was largely by demand "DEMOBASE" given soldiers at the end of the war.
But the course of the 1950s and 1960s saw the emergence of a subculture that was to play an undeniable influence in the evolution of the men dress for years to come – the mod culture. Peaked in London in mid-1960, those classified as "mods" became known for the cultural mods key engineering and fashion trends in the United Kingdom and the men were slim-cut Italian suits – a style of clothing that quickly became a hallmark distinctive of the period. As the mod movement continued to change, a new suit mod was released – which were twinned three-button suits with shirts, equipment and often boots Dr Marten. In fact, although the mod culture began to decline in the 1960s, giving way to the hippie anti-war activists, the main characteristics mod demand continued to endure and plays an important role in the development of demand at present.
In the 1970s, Bell fund suits became a common feature as disk reigned – and women began wearing men's suits in style too! However, the 1980s saw a dot watershed in the evolution of men's suits. As a new generation of young professionals, began to emerge with large bank balances and an eye for what was in fashion, fashion designers first-rate began to address the â € ~ yuppieâ € ™ in a way never seen before, and the concept of 'power game' was born.
The 1990s love affair with vintage clothing suits extended to men as well, although in lower degree than men casual wear. Clothing became available in a wide range of colors and cuts, and this eclectic approach to men's suits has continued in the new millennium. Today, prevailing trends, men in suits include slim trousers paired with a single-breasted jackets and vests used with brightly colored ribbons skinny – a trend that has largely influences of modern musical trends and also emblematic of how the current form of social movements and style of the way we look.
