A white Christmas, pure and simple with feathers

Project cost: Under $ 30.00, depending on the type of feathers you buy.
Materials and tools:
A polystyrene foam squares, 30 cm long by 22 cm wide by 5 cm thick (if you can not find a cut out an opening center of the plaza within a polystyrene foam box with a cutter).

Feather crowns are a big trend home decor, and make stunning accessories for any season. They are absolutely amazing balance on a fireplace Mantel, centered on a large mirror, hooked on a door or casually on a chair.
Feathercrowns party are funny but quite easy to do. Trim any excess or unwanted hair the tips of the feathers. Order by size and length.
Start by similar lengths of feather stick horizontally along the four outer sides of the foam square polystyrene. Use a glue gun with glue sticks low temperature, the flat tail feathers in length, side by side in two rows. Do the same for cover square opening of the base of the crown.
To cover the front surface of the crown base, apply a row of feathers along the center, next to one at a time side-by-side, but only the tip. From one end and work your way around the base of everything. Add a second layer of feathers overlapping the first row in the same way, but this time along the border and center opening around the base.
Once completed, check the crown may be necessary to ensure some feathers with a little more glue. You can get a wire loop on the back for hanging crown.
To finish, I added a plain, deep-brown chocolate satin ribbon with a bow.
A crown of feathers will last for years. Each holiday, you can give a new look with just decorate with a variety of different accessories. Leave the plain crown or include a variety of ornaments, such as miniature colored balls, fresh ivy, bird feathers, clusters of berries, wire arches and creative embellishments.
If you use feathercrowns outdoors, be sure to place under a covered porch to avoid direct sunlight or snow. You want a feather wreath for every season, to hang on the door in a wall or a mirror. They make wonderful gifts, too.
Tree Table: To make a small cone tree covered with feathers, begin by applying a row of feathers with a glue gun in the bottom of the cone base, and continue adding overlapping rows of feathers to the base of the cone is completely covered all the way to the top. To minimize the cost, you can buy a feather boa low-cost insurance one end to the base with florist pins or glue, abdomen and surrounds the cone-shaped at the end to secure it in the base.
